For leave earned prior to July 1, 2005, the rate of reimbursement shall be equivalent to one-half of the employee’s daily rate of pay at the time of resignation up to a maximum of $40 per day for the first 80 days. For days accumulated beyond 80, the employee shall be reimbursed at one-fourth of his or her daily rate of pay at the time of resignation to a maximum of $20 per day. For leave earned on or after July 1, 2005, the reimbursement rate shall be one-half the daily rate of pay at the time of resignation up to a maximum of $75 per day for the first 80 days. For days accumulated beyond 80, the employee shall be reimbursed at 1/4 of his or her daily rate of pay at the time of resignation to a maximum of $65 per day.
